Environmental checkout

As a year-round household, you have the option to dispose of certain types of hazardous waste via the red environmental box.

Hazardous waste must be delivered in original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, please return the waste in tightly sealed packaging and write on the outside what the packaging contains.

The lid on the environmental bin must be closed correctly and address label always to be filled in.

The environmental box can be ordered in the following ways:
- Via the BOFA app Waste portal
- Via My rubbish (note: requires MyID)
You must also order collection of the environmental till via the self-service solutions.
- Select Bulky waste - remember to tick Environmental box (Hazardous waste).
After ordering, the box must be picked up at the selected recycling centre.
The environmental bin is collected afterwards as bulky waste or can be handed in at the recycling centres in Rønne, Nexø, Aakirkeby, or Olsker.
