Waste tower
The Waste Tower is Bornholm's green communication centre. The tower itself is a good recycling story, as it originally served as Rønne's water tower.
Visiting the Waste Tower teaches children, young people and adults about sustainability. They gain a basic understanding of how innovation and development are key to a lasting and sustainable utilisation of the Earth's resources.
School visits to the Waste Tower typically take place over half a school day, where students learn about waste treatment, recycled materials and sustainable solutions through practical and theoretical activities that inspire a greener future.
Visits from companies, associations, or citizen groups usually take place in the evenings or on weekends.
As the Waste Tower is popular, it is recommended to book well in advance.
