Flamingo

Flamingo

What happens with Flamingo (EPS)

Flamingo collected via the recycling centres is transported to Vestermarie where it is pressed, balled up and forwarded to Proof in Hedensted. At Proof the polystyrene is reprocessed and used in the manufacture of new products, such as insulation boards.

  • Large pieces of white flamingo
  • Packaging polystyrene from e.g. packages

  • Dirty Flamingo
  • Capillary boxes
  • Flamingo chips and balls

Please note

Note: Larger quantities of polystyrene from businesses can be delivered to the Recycling Centre in Vestermarie. The polystyrene must be delivered in Big Bags or in a closed container that is emptied as soon as possible. Agree with the staff where the Big Bags or container should be placed in Vestermarie.
