Textile waste

Textile waste

BOFA encourages good usable textiles that can be recycled to be delivered directly to a thrift store or flea market.

Delivery of textiles:

Households in year-round areas can drop off worn textiles together with bulky waste 3 times a year. Households in holiday home areas can dispose of them in the designated container at the communal collection.

What happens with Textile Waste

Textile waste is pre-sorted and stored in Rønne. From here it is sent to WastePlus in Næstved, where it is finely sorted and forwarded for reuse, recycling or recovery.
