Larger quantities (however < 5 litres/5kg) can be handed in as hazardous waste at the recycling centres during manned opening hours (Hasle and Østermarie excluded). Business customers without registration for the recycling centre scheme must deliver hazardous waste to an approved collector.

Cardboard

Loose cardboard should be placed in the container/environment. Fold cardboard boxes flat, and tear/cut/snip large pieces of cardboard into smaller pieces (A4 size maximum) before placing them in the container/environment for cardboard. Be careful not to compact the cardboard too much, as it will be difficult to remove from the container again. Large cardboard boxes must be taken to the recycling centre or via the bulky waste collection scheme.
